So I recently said “yes” to the dress! With the help of my wonderful maid of honor, I finally narrowed it down and picked out the dress that I’m going to say “I do” in! Brandi’s Bridal in New Glarus, Wisconsin armed me with a dream team of stylists to help me find the perfect dress. I couldn’t imagine a better dress shopping experience (and trust me because, I had a terrible experience at a different shop).

On another note, a recent shopping trip had me swooning over this adorable swing dress! As soon as my eyes landed on this plum dress from UOI, I knew it was meant to be. I have a thing for purple but I don’t actually own anything purple. So when I came across something as adorable as this little dress, it seemed like fate! I love the simple round neckline that allows me to pair the dress with whatever necklace I’m in the mood for. A little criss cross back action on this beauty adds a sassy little touch to an otherwise casual dress.

After finding my dress at Brandi’s it only seemed like common sense to celebrate at the New Glarus Brewery. I mean how could you pass up that opportunity? The brewery is incredible. As you can see from the photos above, it literally looks like you’re transported straight to Europe. They have the largest outdoor seating area that I’ve ever seen at a brewery and the entire thing looks like old ruins (check out the photo below).
